EXAMPLES OF MY WORK

What I did. How it helped.

Here are examples of a payment-checking improvement and two personal software projects. Each explains what I did, the results so far and what still needs work.

01 · SAVING TIME AT WORKWorkplace example

Reducing repetitive payment matching

Accenture · Checking insurance payments against bills

5+ hoursSaved on one complex payment-checking task
Problem
Checking individual members’ payments involved repeating the same matching steps and investigating records that did not match.
What I built
I built an Excel tool that matched payments when they met the rules. I kept a person’s review for records that needed attention.
Recorded result
The Excel tool saved more than five hours on one unusually complex task. In my regular role, I manage about 130 business accounts each month, with a 97% average annual quality review score and 98% performance against agreed service targets.

Limit: Client records and internal spreadsheets are private. The five-hour saving was for one complex task; results will depend on the work.

Problem
Update the existing Career Scout app into Aspirva while keeping saved data, licenses, installation and updates working.
My role
I planned the changes and reviewed work produced with AI tools. This included the new name, light and dark modes, checks on the information shown, and preparations for release.
Progress so far
At a recorded stage of development, 310 software checks passed and the app started successfully. Work remains on the desktop layout, making the app easier for people with disabilities to use, and final Microsoft Store approval.

Limit: This is my own app and is still being developed. Microsoft Store approval is pending. The image shows the website preview, rather than the Windows app.

A TIME-SAVING EXCEL TOOL

When checking payments took too long

Checking individual members’ payments involved many repeated steps. I built an Excel tool to match payments that met the rules and leave records needing attention for a person to review.

RECORDED RESULT5+ hours

Saved on one unusually complex payment-checking task.

The tool handled repeated matching steps. A person still reviewed payments that needed a closer look.

Also recognized as Top 1 Agent and Top Performer for two months in 2023, with 100% performance and quality-check scores during that period.

06ADDITIONAL SKILL

Building with AI

Plan what a tool should do, give tasks to AI tools, review the results and check that features work before release.

Review AI workQuality checksFeature planning
More tools I use, explained

AI & task helpers

I use ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini and OpenRouter to help plan and build projects, then review their output. I write clear instructions for these tools. I also use n8n and webhooks to connect apps and pass information between them.

Building & hosting projects

I use Git and GitHub to track code changes, GitHub Actions for repeated project checks, and VS Code to edit code. Hosting and data tools include Azure, Vercel, Cloudflare, Supabase/PostgreSQL and Turso. I use Firebase Test Lab to check apps on different devices. My Docker knowledge covers the basics of running projects in separate environments.

Coding & software checks

I have basic knowledge of Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, which are programming languages. I also know HTML/CSS for web pages and have experience with FastAPI, Next.js concepts and Node.js for building apps. JSON and REST APIs let apps exchange information. I plan tests, record problems and check that changes keep existing features working.

Spreadsheets, bookkeeping & video

In Excel, Power Query cleans and combines data, PivotTables summarize it, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP find matching records, and VBA handles repeated steps. I use QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping and compare financial records to find differences. FFmpeg helps process video and audio files, and I organize these tools into repeatable steps.
